Elevator Boy is an otherworldly LGBTQ+ memoir that reads like a novel. On May 25th, 1976, my father fell down an elevator shaft on his way to work and perished from the earth. I was 15 and closeted. The shadow known as Elevator Boy was born out of necessity to survive.
