Welcome to the Einav Tayeb-Fligelman Lab. Our research seeks to uncover the molecular principles that govern amyloid assembly and its roles in neurodegeneration and infection. By integrating cryoEM, biochemistry, biophysics, and cell-based approaches, we investigate the triggers of amyloid formation in tauopathies, define the mechanisms through which amyloids drive disease progression, and develop strategies to target pathogenic protein aggregation therapeutically.
