Eglentine Briar is the author of The Divine and the Damned: Book 1. Her name is obviously not Eglentine, but she's a teacher in her real life, and those parents don't really need to know what she writes about. She is a queer woman living in the Chicagoland area with her two sons, her stupid dog, and her usually pretty okay husband.
