The artist residency Eau & Gaz was founded in 2014 by Sarah and Kathrin Oberrauch to establish a meeting point for artists and others who are artistically or culturally productive. The aim was to create a lasting location contrary to the often temporary nature of exhibitions, which has now become a platform for examining social, political and aesthetic issues, inviting collectivity and active exchange.
