Dr Sekagya Institute of Traditional Medicine (DR-SITM), No. UVQF/8561 is a knowledge building and sharing center with grassroot networks of indigenous healers natured by PROMETRA Uganda. It was established in 2010 as a scientific and research establishment to revitalize local health traditions through creative applications of indigenous science and demonstrate contemporary relevance of African medicine and traditions with societal impact. The core mandate of the institute is to build capacity of
