The Continental Societies, Inc.® Philadelphia Chapter is one of the original chapters that helped establish Continental Societies Inc.®. This nonprofit 501(c)(3) international service organization was founded in June 1956 by women from Baltimore, Philadelphia, Newport News, and Washington, D.C. Its mission is to support underserved children and youth through its Five Point Programmatic Thrust, which emphasizes Health, Education, Employment, Recreation, and Arts and Humanities.
