This is a research cancer focused on cancer that follows the model of “comprehensive cancer centers” that has been implemented in the USA. This research center is composed of scientist and technologists belonging to the CSIC (Spanish National Research Council), the University of Salamanca and the Foundation for Cancer Research of Salamanca. The Center carries out basic, translational and clinical research in order to transfer as soon as possible the research outcomes to the clinical practice
