‘Cane Records, one of the first student-run record labels, was created in the fall of 1993 by a small group of ambitious graduate and undergraduate students in the Music Business and Entertainment Industries program at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. This organization gives students hands-on experience running an independent record label.
