Boutmeh, located southeast of Beiteddine in the Chouf region of Lebanon, is a historic locality known for its name meaning "the terebinth tree" in Syriac and Arabic. At 950 meters above sea level, it spans over 200 hectares and features ancient sarcophagi, fossils, and the notable "Oak of Oum Al-Charatit."
