BELL TARGET SHOOTING is one of the oldest club and pub sports in the country. There are still a number of Air Rifle and Airgun Target Shooting Clubs in the UK. By 1905 there were around 1600 Bell Target teams in Birmingham alone. It all started in the 1890’s by the Victorians to improve shooting standards among recruits during and after the Boer war.
