Baptiste Coutret / My current research focuses on Neoproterozoic environments and their geochemical and paleobiological implications for early animal life. I am also interested in exploring the role of oxygen-producing cyanobacteria (microbial mats) on animal life. I am a second-year Ph.D. student at the University of Alberta, Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences.
