BAO VUONG was born in Vietnam in the late 1970s. His art, spanning painting, installation, and performance, explores themes of memory and displacement. In his black monochrome series, The Crossing, he evokes light in darkness, blending presence with absence, and invites viewers to confront personal histories and hope for a brighter future.
