The Avni lab focuses on the way by which genetic and environmental factors integrate in regulating gene expression in immune cells, mostly in T helper (Th; CD4+) cells as the orchestrators of the immune response. ​ We also focus on the innate immunity, especially in the mechanisms underlying the involvement of inflammation in heart failure and  reproductive system. ​ We are Located at the Faculty of Medicine in the Galilee, Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
