AVAAS is a parent and student advocacy organization promoting parent empowerment through programs that meet the unique educational needs of African American Children district wide, often with programs that overlap and provide access more broadly. Our focus remains preparing students for college access and success. We are currently planning programs with an emphasis on career readiness as well.
