Zakea Page is a New Zealand multimedia artist who explores themes of sport, culture, and identity. He won the IOC’s global competition to design the medals for the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games and performed a painting at the Opening Ceremony, representing the medals he designed. He wrote and directed the Oscar-qualified short documentary ‘Ink and Gold – An Artist’s Journey to Olympic Glory’, exploring how art and sport transcend language and unite diverse cultures.
