I’m Alana, an Assistant Professor of Sociology in Creighton University's Department of Cultural and Social Studies. My research uses theories of political economy, environmental justice, stratification, and organizations to study inequalities in the food system. My methods include ethnography, in-depth interviews, geospatial analysis, content analysis, and network analysis.
