Akshay Mangla is a political scientist and Associate Professor of International Business at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School and a Research Fellow at Green Templeton College. He specialise in comparative politics and the political economy of developing countries, with a regional focus on South Asia. His research spans the topics of state capacity, governance, frontline bureaucracy, public service delivery and state-society relations in India.
