The AI & Global Development Lab fuses AI with Earth Observation to illuminate the causes and consequences of human development across time and space. Our interdisciplinary team, comprising data scientists, computer scientists, and social scientists, develops methods to better understand the multi-scale dynamics of pressing global issues, including poverty, conflict, sustainability, and the effectiveness of
