The ACP/LDC Sugar Industries Group is a trade association representing the interests of African, Caribbean, Pacific and Least Developed Countries’ sugar industries – millers and farmers – in matters of EU and UK trade, development, and agricultural policy. The Group – in various guises – has been going since at least the 1950’s (the Commonwealth Sugar Agreement) and possibly even earlier.
