Medical and surgical abortion services are available in PEI, for free, through the Women's Wellness Program and Sexual Health Services at Prince County Hospital. Medication can be prescribed for up to nine weeks pregnant, and surgical abortions are available up to 12 weeks, 6 days pregnant.
