THE 49 CLUB is as a social forum formed for those who had worked for the Nature Conservancy and the Nature Conservancy Council. Membership is open to all involved with other related bodies, such as Natural Resources Wales, Countryside Council for Wales, English Nature, Natural England, Scottish Natural Heritage, NatureScot, Joint Nature Conservation Committee, Institute of Terrestrial Ecology, Centre for Ecology & Hydrology. THE 49 CLUB takes its name from the National Parks and Access to the Co
