3D Interactive Lineup is a cutting-edge, multi-institutional project led by the Applied Memory Lab in collaboration with partner universities and technology developers, the project harnesses AI and 3D virtual reality to transform police lineups. It uses AI-generated realistic fillers and enables witnesses to interactively explore digital faces, rotating them to match their memory of the perpetrator’s pose—overcoming limitations of static photos and video lineups.
