Fernando Becerra is an astrophysicist turned data analyst and data visualization developer. His work is a mix of research, data science, analysis, and visualization in order to create interactive tools that communicate, teach, and empower through visual storytelling. He holds a Ph.D. in Astronomy & Astropysics from Harvard University and has worked for companies and non-profits like USAFacts, ProPublica, The Urban Institute, Planet Labs, among others.
