CLEAR (Contaminant Lifecycle & Effects of Advanced Research). The CLEAR Lab investigates the sources, transformations, and biological impacts of micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs) in the environment. Using advanced imaging, analytical chemistry, and computational tools, the lab develops innovative approaches for detecting, quantifying, and mitigating MNP exposure to protect ecosystems and human health.
